hi i read your blog that altiview 5.0 seems to work fine with win 7 prof. can you tell me:

* was that a 32 bit version of win 7 prof only? YES
* if altiview 5.0 can connect to altiserv 4.0 (we are currently running altiview 4.6 and that connects fine to 4.0 server) Probably not.
* if altiserv 5.0 can be installed in win2000? Yes, it works just fine. Even 5.0A.

thanks in advance. we are stuck since altiview 4.6 does not seem to work with win 7 prof right now.

Keep in mind that Altiview 5.0A is best at Update 5. If you need the updates I can direct you to the right dealer in your area or you can have our company help you.

I would install AVG free and Malwarebytes. Then do a full scan of the computer with both programs. Those programs should be able to remove the infection. (If you have one). Additionally you can try and use the infamous system restore. Let me know if anything works out for you! Good Luck!
